The Youth Ministry of First Baptist Church is a growing group which includes middle and high school students.

On Sundays, Life Groups meet each week from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. This is a great time to learn God’s truth in a small group setting where questions are encouraged and welcomed.
On Wednesdays, the 4:12 Student Ministry meets from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. each week. This worship and Bible Study time is led on relevant issues by dedicated teachers. Most Wednesdays, we have music, games, and an encouraging time of Bible study.
Our student ministry is designed to help teens transition through life with a biblical worldview, the center of which is always the Bible.
We’d love for you to be a part of what God is doing in our Youth Ministry!

Everybody loves TJ! First Family Student Pastor
If you have not visited our student ministry, you might not have ever met these two wonderful people!
Meet TJ and Angela Johnson. They work with our teens every Sunday morning, every Wednesday night, and often times, in between.
If you wonder just how much fun they are, how much they love our teens, or how much they want to see the teens and their families know the life changing power of Christ… just pull up the photos on our 4:12 Student Ministry, FBC Auburndale page and take a look!
TJ and Angela have all kinds of activities for the students ranging from game nights, Bible studies, bonfires, lock-ins, Wednesday activities, trips to camp, water parks, the beach, ice skating,  putt-putt, bowling, Funspot, and much more including fun nights in their home.
If you have a teenager in the Auburndale area, you can trust these two to be great examples and mentors for them. We hope you will come and enjoy our student ministry!
(TJ has worked with our teens for 16 years. Angela has taught in the Polk County schools and is not teaching in a private school).
