Senior Pastor, Tom Johnson
Pastor Tom has been loving and serving the people of First Baptist for many years. He has an intense desire to teach God’s word that those who are a part of FBCA will have everything that they need to love God and love others, serve and disciple, and enjoy this life God has given us here on this earth!
Pastor Tom has been loving and serving the people of First Baptist for many years. He has an intense desire to teach God’s word that those who are a part of FBCA will have everything that they need to love God and love others, serve and disciple, and enjoy this life God has given us here on this earth!
He is fun-loving and passionate in ministry. He makes time for all ages as he desires to see them prosper in everything they do.
He and Rhonda have been married since 1984, and serve as a team – each other, their family, and the Lord! They have 7 children and 6 grandchildren.

Associate Pastor to Students and Singles, TJ Johnson
Since June of 2007, TJ has faithfully been, not only a member of FBCA, but an invested minister to our teens and singles, as well as all those attending FBCA. Having a heart for teens and seeing them own their faith, TJ felt the call to ministry as a teenager and has sought to serve the Lord from that young age.
He and Angela have been married since 2015. They have a deep love and spiritual concern for everyone God brings into their lives. Ministry is not a job but a way of life for this sweet couple.
They have one child: Berlan.
Since June of 2007, TJ has faithfully been, not only a member of FBCA, but an invested minister to our teens and singles, as well as all those attending FBCA. Having a heart for teens and seeing them own their faith, TJ felt the call to ministry as a teenager and has sought to serve the Lord from that young age.
He and Angela have been married since 2015. They have a deep love and spiritual concern for everyone God brings into their lives. Ministry is not a job but a way of life for this sweet couple.
They have one child: Berlan.
Director of Children’s Ministries, Barbara Coleman
This mother of 3 has been a part of the FBCA family for many years. It became apparent that the Lord had great plans for her as we saw her naturally fill the shoes of our Children’s Ministry Director with love and excitement in everything she did. Thankfully, she officially answered the call to staff in October of 2022.
She and her husband Chris are a great team as they minister to the children, the children’s workers, and the families involved in this growing ministry. Their creativity, generosity, and resourcefulness add so much to FBCA.
Together they have three children: Maddy, Ally, and Ben.
This mother of 3 has been a part of the FBCA family for many years. It became apparent that the Lord had great plans for her as we saw her naturally fill the shoes of our Children’s Ministry Director with love and excitement in everything she did. Administrative Assistant, LaNelle McGaffigan
The McGaffigans serve the Lord through FBCA in many ways. LaNelle has worked along side many of the ministries of the church and has served as Administrative Assistant since 2013. Having been faithful in teaching, singing, and all ministry areas for a number of years, she is a wonderful asset to assisting with administrative duties. Always willing to help, she is more than likely the happy voice you will hear when you call the church.
Drew and LaNelle have been married since 2013 and have three girls: Ella, Evie, and Victoria.
The McGaffigans serve the Lord through FBCA in many ways. LaNelle has worked along side many of the ministries of the church and has served as Administrative Assistant since 2013. Having been faithful in teaching, singing, and all ministry areas for a number of years, she is a wonderful asset to assisting with administrative duties.
